I was just thinking of a commemoration statue to be included in a future DLC linked to a research project. Research it and get to build a statue of him either in a dome or outside under the Martian sky.
That's an awesome idea! There should be memorable people as statues of parks such as Gagarin, Einstein or Hawking et cetera. Martians should pay respect to those people, esentially.

I'd agree 100% with a statue of some sort to memorialize him, in the interim I'm undecided between naming my first rocket and first dome after him.
The man lived 53 years longer than what doctors gave him. That is an achievement in of it's own.
Domes have Hawking already in the name list. I'd rather have him as a sponsor/mission commander.
