You can after 2 hours - there is now a 2h minimum engagement time.
That defeats the purpose of a probing attack to discover the enemies strength. This should be returned to dd/arm spec imo.
this is a known multiplayer bug.. hopefully they will fix it... but i havent seen it as a bug fix on the patch news.
Only if your playing singleplayer or are the host of a multiplayer game.
For multiplayer clients its broken and you can never call off attacks.
The minimum engagement time is in misc.txt - the bug where it goes on indefinitely for MP we need to fix...
