Stop the music!

Can someone tell me if there is a command line switch to turn off the annoying intro music? I can't seem to find a way to shut it off until I get into the game itself. All the initialization routines are plagued by the stuff. PLEASE HELP! It's not worth playing if I have to listen to that silly tinkling sound any more!

And while I'm on it.... is there a switch to jump past the opening scenes/credits and go right into the game? I don't care to watch them over and over and over and over again.

You can delete this thread using the 'edit/delete' function to delete your opening post.

And for record, there isn't a way to turn off the music at opening. You can only prevent it from playing in-game. Although I have noticed that when certain sound functions of my computer are already occupied, the music doesn't come on at all...
