Well, there is now two Muslim powers rising from east; Seljuks and the Byzantine!

And now that Byzantion, Spain and Genoa/Lombardy (Even Rome was for a while) have all fallen muslims before 1080, this is getting very interesting. Myself I'm playing as tribe of Mecklenburg and this benefits me a lot.

But most surprising thing for me is that COA of Byzantine changed and I begun think is there any other titles that has this effect? Or if Byzantine falls to pagans does it have different COA?

(I think next game of mine will be as Muslim Rome )

To my knowledge there are different flags for Christians and Muslims, whereas Pagans just use the Christian flags IIRC. So each County has Christian and Islamic flags, etc.

No. Every provinces and titles have only one CoA each.
The CoA in OP's pic is still the normal Byzantine CoA. The difference is, because the emperor is either a Muslim or from "darker" race (Persian, Arabs, Cuman, etc) or both, instead of a normal shield template that you get if you are a Christian ruler, you get a round shield template upon your CoA. And because the emperor is a Muslim, there's an extra crescent in the round shield. The same as a pagan. But a pagan ruler doesn't have a crescent in it round shield.

Hope that helps :)

Are you sure that all only have one CoA each? I could have sworn that the CoAs were changed. In vanilla CK when Muslims taking over Ireland was commonplace :)p) I remember that the Irish flags were different. It could have been the crescents, though.

Pretty sure :p. Maybe it's all because of the crescent just like you said.
BTW what are the Muslims doing in Ireland? Like there's no better place to conquer in Europe, like Scotland for example :p

That Byzantine CoA is the same, but reduced to the size of the round-shaped Muslim shield. But it's the same CoA. The crescent is added by the shield template, not in the CoA. I modded my CoA's a lot and I can assure you that each province and each tag has just one CoA adscribed. That's why the Emirate of Badajoz has the CoA of christian Badajoz.

Well if you play right you can have two Kingdom of Egypt tittles as the muslims have their own and so do christians also. Any muslim tittle is possible to get with claims or with inheritance even the kingdom tittles. Still Kingdom of Egypt of the muslims is still totally different tittle than Kingdom of Egypt of the christians. Any tittle in the game can be under any ruler. There is no difference of what religion he is following.

With most of them it's easy to tell that the CoA is the same, it's just in a different shaped shield. With the Byzantine CoA the circle cuts off most of the yellow Bs, so it looks like a yellow shield with a yellow cross (outlined in red).

The Imperial CoA is red, with a yellow cross, and a yellow B in each corner.

But this title is same that orthodox rulers used. So in the middle of COA there appeared a Muslim sickle and I swear that there wasn't one before

So does this sickle appear to other titles as well?
