I ran into a problem while working on a mod, where moving through certain provinces causes a CTD. I think it may be a problem with the Seazone or Port values in the province.csv file. Can anyone explain what these values are used for?
I modified the coastlines of the map by changing some land provinces to ocean similar to what was done in the Seven Kingdoms mod. After making the changes the scenario loads without errors, but moving through certain ocean provinces causes the game to crash.
Some of the provinces I converted from land to ocean work fine, ships can move through them and reach the destination without problems. But other problems cause a CTD as soon as I click on a destination that requires moving through the bugged province.
Does anyone know how the Seazone and Port values work in province.csv? From the regular scenarios it looks like Seazone is zero for landlocked provinces, and for coastal provinces Seazone is the number of the ocean space that borders it. The port value I don't understand at all, even landlocked provinces have a different values here.
I tried setting Seazone for coastal provinces to the number of the nearest ocean province. For the ocean provinces I made Seazone blank. That didn't work, so I tried setting all Seazone values to zero for land provinces and blank for ocean provinces. This didn't work either.
Has anyone else run into a problem like this?
