While playing with Romania(quite well I might add),in the expansion set, and conquering Bulgaria and parts of Turkey
of course eventually the 1st WW started so I was proposed to join the Antante in 1914 but I refused wanting to be more historical accurate and decided to ally with France in 1916(strange thing is the Russia couldn't move troops in my territory or I in her's even do we were supposedly both in the same big alliance-The Antante),I did manage to free some parts of Transilvania but the huge manpower of the Central Powers kept my armies too 'busy' to manage to free all of Transilvania :S eventually 1918 came and the Central Powers did have more war exhaustion
"aha" said me thinking they will capitulate very soon seeing that France with USA help also managed to take some parts of Rhineland, but then...one by one the Antante made peace with the Central Powers and I was left all alone and continued to battle until late 1919
of course my lil' nation couldn't take on Germany and Austro-Hungary on its own even if they had huge war exhaustion so I was forced to make a white-peace...then a 'miracle': the historic post-ww1 map of Europe began to 'take form' so I got Transilvania by 'default' but I didn't get Bukovina which historically joined Romania just like Transilvania did :\ its kind of strange that no event was scripted for the end of the war for this (when the last Antante power, aka me with Romania, makes peace) and aldo it generally respects historic truth it makes u feel like u haven't done mostly anything(even if its not necessarily true:when I played with Sweden as a neutral country in ww1 the Central Powers had less war exhaustion and won! Germany becoming world leader, aldo later on USA still becomes the most powerful nation anyway),also in Romania's case the fact that Bukovina didn't join is quite frustrating xD
