I don't know if this would count as a bug, so I will put it here in multiplayer.

I was playing an mp game with 2 of my friends. We all have cable and live in the same town. We hit some lag for a couple of minutes and when we got out of it, I (the game host) was on July 6th. My one friend was on about June 28th and my other friend about June 26th. What happened? Has anybody else experienced this?

It's not a bad bug, I was just curious to what had happened.

It's lag. When people lag their dates show up as later than the real date (Which the host has). If your troops refuse to follow orders, the sliders always reset to what it was before etc. you are probably lagging behind (They will follow orders and so on once you reach the time you sent those orders host-time)
Pausing usually helps (when the game is paused the host time will remain still but your will still go on until you reach the host-time), although you'll probably keep lagging after that too.

Jup HOI is EXTREMELY bandwith hungry since there are so many troops moving. But the good thing is Paradox is working on it and with the new patch (should be released any day now) it will improve a lot.
