I have a simple question about the meaning of the values in the misc.txt file. If I see this:

# Days between spy missions in a country. Do not use fractions
30 #8

Does it indicate 30 days between spy missions or 8? If I want to alter this value, which number do I change? What does the other value mean?

Typically I take # to mean a remark, and ignore the value after it. However this failed to work when changing the number of tech teams, so I just copied what someone else posted. However I would prefer to understand what this means so I can changes thins appropriate to my taste. And yes, I did backup the file before making any changes. I guess that was more than one question, but I am sure it has a simple answer. Thanks! :D

As an old KGB saying goes: "stupid is not one who doesnt know, stupid is one who doesnt know and doesnt ask".

:)

As AC said, "#" means that game engine disregards whatever else is written after that, however dont press enter for new line, because youll need another "#" in that case, made this mistake a few times myself.

Also when it comes to DH, if youre moding something, and it looks like it doesnt work when it should, make sure youre moding the correct file (from correct mod folder) and not the main mod's files (i did it like 10 times in last 2 days :D wasting about 40 minutes trying to figure out why stuff didnt work)
