Subscription problem via Steam

I tried to purchase a subscription via Steam. It won't allow me to do so because I already own some DLCs included in the subscription. This has worked for me before, and since the subscription feature came out, I haven't bought more DLCs because I know I can purchase a month of game time and get my fix.

I get this message: "Your transaction could not be completed because you already own one or more of the games you are trying to purchase. Please check your account and your cart to verify that you are purchasing an item you do not already own."

Has there been a change? I would like to play EU4 with all the DLCs and get all the new content, but I can't afford or want to buy DLCs just to play a game for a short while.

Have a look at your account settings. Is the subscription maybe already there? I think you can renew it from the account settings or completely remove it there so that you can buy it again from the main steam store

Have you have this subscription before? If so that may be the problem - you have to re-enable it hrough your Steam account details, not the store page.

Thank you guys for the help, I didn't work to go through account settings. But I have written to the steam support and hope they can help me the the sub.
