I have been playing for a while on ck2. This game is fab. But some bugs spoils it a bit like succession laws that to my opinion need to be reassessed.Playing King Capet of France at the start of the game France is under agnatic primogeniture law,a wrong heir has been choosen among the king's of france vassals Thibaud I of Champagne after I assassinated the king and his brother both underage when there were still a male relative to succeed the late king,his uncle Robert the Old Duke of Burgundy

Agnatic primogeniture should always choose the heir among the males of the family that is the closest relative to the title bearer. except if he is a Bastard or if he is a member of the church. Should no heir be available to succeed then the most powerful vassal could succeed him or a successor be designated by a assembly of vassals of the realm. Like in 987 the last merovingian king of France Louis V died on a hunting party with no heir .An assembly of the vassals designated Hugues Capet Duke of the France to succeed him
Will a patch fix this bug be released in the future?
