Sudden death on Xbox one

I've played a couple of hundred hours, and suddenly the game froze during autosave and now won't restart. Just gets stuck on loading page until I get grumpy and turn it off.

For God's sake, don't make me get a social life!

The autosave is probably corrupt from the crash. Try loading a different save file. if that doesn't work I'd try reinstalling the game.

I always turn autosave off and manual save when the game allows.

I have it turned off as well. There is clearly something wrong with the autosave function considering you can do a manual save in a couple of seconds yet the autosave takes 20-30 seconds to complete. I have seen a few posts confirming the autosave lag as well. Best practice is to disable it.
