Dear Paradox Interactive Team,
I would like to suggest a revision regarding the cultural group classification of the Turkish and Arab cultures in Europa Universalis IV. Currently, both groups are placed under the same cultural group, but I believe this choice compromises historical accuracy and gameplay dynamics.
Historically, Turks share closer linguistic, cultural, and historical ties with Central Asian groups such as the Kazakhs, Uzbeks, and Turkmens, rather than Arabs. Including Turks in the same cultural group as these Central Asian cultures would better reflect their shared heritage.
Additionally, Arabs frequently rebelled against Ottoman rule during various periods, highlighting the distinct nature of their culture and relationship with the Turks. Placing Arabs in a separate cultural group would not only improve historical realism but also introduce more engaging challenges for players managing Ottoman territories.
This adjustment could enhance both immersion and strategic depth in the game. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I appreciate all the effort your team puts into creating such an exceptional game.
