I think that just as important as extra details in the game map would be a smarter realm colour pallet.
In CK1, I was playing as Moskva, made myself Prince of Moscovy, then I went crazy on the Cumans (who were all over Russia). Freed my Orthodox brethren, proclaimed myself King or Rus, only to find that my color and the Cumans' are the same.
Ok, yea, this is a minor thing, that can be moded out.
But I'm pretty sure that the ppl at Paradox can incorporate a witty algorithm to deal with this.
Suggestions (for the love of gameplay):
1 - The algorithm could dynamically check every time a new independent realm is declared that their colour will differ significantly from their neighboring colors.
2 - If this algorithm is too much of a resource eater with every new realm popping out, then make it kick in every time we load up a save.
3 - If even this "saves-only" idea is too much, then can we at least choose our own realm map color when we declare independence (just for our own sake) or at least give us a console command to edit colors in-game on realm tags.
