I'd like to see the official announcement for it, but the only official announcement I can find is the campus one. Anyways, here are my suggestion for the new vehicles DLC:

In the free patch, I'd like to see BRT stops and light rail stops so that we can build bus rapid transit and light rail networks SEPERATE to regular bus and tram networks. All it would require is dedicated stops. And guided busways which can have their own stops and/or have BRT stops attached. Also, I'd like to see non-airport double decker buses which are route coloured

Roads which allow for trams and trolley buses operate together, or at the very least, for trams and trolleys to cross over eachother in intersections. (Same applies, by the way for trams with railway crossings and trolley buses with rail crossings)

As for tram vehicle I'd to see:
At least one single segment/carriage tram (capacity 30) which is just a bus on tracks and one which could be described as a light rail vehicle, which could be 5 or more segments/carriages, each segment/carriage having more than 30 capacity. I'm also disappointed that my home country of Australia and that the country of my ancestry, Greece, were both completely left out of the vehicles of the world pack. Maybe because Sydney has the world's longest trams, we could have a tram modelled after the Sydney light rail, and because Melbourne has the world's largest tram network, maybe a tram modelled after the Melbourne network? Either way, where can I see the official announcement? I'd like to see what's actually officially announced in the inclusion. Please link to that thread :)

Also, you know what would be nice? Battery electric buses (spawned from the biofuel bus depot) which serve as regular buses, but operate on battery, and (if possible) hybrid buses which can run on any road, with or without trolley wires, but erect their wires when on a trolley road. This could have the added benefit of the bus running out of battery if it doesn't spend enough time on the wires recharging

Are you talking about this:
?

I would like to add: the electric buses should have very low noise pollution but high electricity consumption (so I would add a separate depot or a system to add electricity consumption per bus). Also: hybrid buses which don't connect to the trolley wires, but have batteries as well. In this case, it would be advised to have a system in which you can choose on which stretches between bus stops the bus drives electric or on fuel. This should definitely be a free update for either going green or mass transport.
