Out of all of the recent paradox games, there was only one that I pre-ordered, or even purchased close to its release date, and that was CK2.
The main reason I did so was because of the demo. I had been excited for CK2 before its release, but wasn't sure how the game would actually play. Paradox games are exceptionally complicated, and often it is difficult to imagine if you will actually enjoy the game before playing.
With CK3 looking to have quite a few fundamental differences from CK2, a large amount of the player base seems to be rather skeptical. If you are confident in the quality of the game, a demo would definitely help to bring the more skeptical fans on board.
What is everyone's opinion, do you think a demo is important? Would you preorder without a demo?
