Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
on launch: top third and right third of screen remains black, cutting off view of controls and images.

Does not happen with other games in Steam.

I just upgraded Mac OS and Steam. Previously, this was not an issue.

I assume the update was to MacOS 10.15 , is that right? Because we are getting a similar problem on some of our other games.

Apparently Apple made some changed between the last beta of 10.15 and the public release, that has triggered this problem. It's not clear to me yet if Apple or we (Paradox and Haemimont, depending on the game) will have to fix it; as it is multiple unrelated games affected it seems likely the issue is in MacOS.

So, I have macOS 10.15.4 and latest Steam. Still have same problem. Could you be more specific when will you fix the problem, please.

This is a problem that has affected many of our games, plus other unrelated games. At present there really isn't much you can do except to juggle resolutions and display modes until it works acceptably on your hardware.

Meantime I will now log this as a bug against this game , as the project to fix this in PDS gams will not help this game of course.
