Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have a small power network, containing one Drone Hub, one Wind Turbine producing 6.4 Energy and one Tunnel entrance.

The Hub and Turbine are both connected to the same power cable end node, while the Tunnel is a dozen or so tiles away.

On this small section, for some reason, two cable faults developped, the net result of which meant that this section was losing way more power than was even being produced.

Can you replicate the issue?
Probably. Just build a small power grid and wait for faults to appear...

Similarly, pipe breaks can drain resources not produced. I have a small network with a stirling, evaporator and fuel refinery. If a pipe breaks there, I can vent oxygen and more water than the evaporator can produce.

Faults and breaks should check the network to which they are attached and compute the loss accordingly.
