Camera can move but cannot interact with game

What is your game version?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
During gameplay the UI no longer responds but I can move the camera. All activity has stopped.

Can you replicate the issue?
Playing normally and then I cant get anything to respond or bring up any menus.

I am having the same problem. Now it's within minutes of loading a save

This has happened to me a few times now. Even the music keeps playing, you can alt-tab out, load task manager which shows the program still running normally, but absolutely cannot interact with it in any way nor is the game actually moving forward any longer (windmills stop, people stop, factories stop, but music keeps playing).
