Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
3 out of 4 colonists in the shift did not physically come to work at the extractor due to other commitments such as being at the infirmary and resting at home.
They are still shown in the active shift in the extractor UI.
They are still used to calculate shift performance. The extractor produces resources as if they were present. This is very obvious as the 4th guy is a renegade with 20 performance.
They still received appropriate sanity penalties after the shift ended as if they were working outside at night.
But at the same time they've also received recovery from the infirmary and rest at home, and were able to start other activities before the shift ended.
From gameplay perspective this behavior is beneficial as the work is not interrupted due to walking distances etc, but it is wrong from the logical point of view.
Expected result:
Colonists should always be physically present for work.
Either:
A) colonists interrupt other activities in order to get to work on time (with the effect scaled to the time actually spent doing them?)
B) or they get fired as the shift is about to start with workplace performance updated accordingly and:
B1) either other available people take the job
B2) or the workplace produces at the appropriately reduced output
Can you replicate the issue?
Open the attached save. Check pinned rare metal extractor and 3 pinned colonists.
