Description
Drones try to build both ends of tunnels (and fail)

Windows

Steam

What is your game version?
Release version

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I build a tunnel. Each end is the control area of a separate controller (ship, drone hub or RC).

Drones from the end placed first work fine.

Drones at the tunnel end placed second walk to the tunnel end placed first (going well out of their control range) and run out of battery power on the way.

No mods.

Can you replicate the issue?
I believe so

You're making something wrong probly cause the tunnel is created only with one building, you place the two ends of it and the drones will build the first end and the second end will be automatically build.
The second end does not have to be controlled to be build.

Get the first end on high priority construction and the second end in low priority construction.
You can even disable your second drone hub the time your first end is build to forbide them to move.

In a way it's logical, for this building you're only able to build the first end so drones will see you make one an go build it.

Most times you do this thing opposite ways, you start to make your tunnel then you access the second zone to build your drone hub.

I've renamed the thread to make the problem clearer .. my fault.

You can de-prioritize the tunnel (or diasble the drone hub) but regardless the drones should not be trying to build something about 3 map squares away.

Either they should build it from both ends or they should ignore the second (local) end.

I see your issue. Tthe second drone hub does see the end of the tunnel and it leads them to decide to get on the first part to build. These drones shouldn't be able to act based on seeing the second part i agree.
I have manually used more than once a drone from one hub to pick some part to fix a a distant drone hub being shutted down outside the first drone hub area.
It's very useful when you lack some goods somewhere for various reasons. I guess they should still be able to walk outside their area.
Though they shouldn't automatically leave the area of their drone hub.
