I have the exact same problem on my MacBook Pro M1.
I noticed the same problem since day one using the base game with no DLCs This same effect is within the triangles on the dome floor. It is most prevalent since I bought the green planet DLC.
I got a response on the steam forum that the issue is known, there's a mod to help but still not very aesthetically pleasing but supposedly better than nothing.
ChoGGi is the guy with the mod, I haven't tried it yet.
Seeing that the issue is known for some time now, I don't think they are going to fix it.
