Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have in my colony abandoned areas, where I extracted concrete until the deposit depleted. I removed everything from there except cables.

Now I got several cable faults in those area, out of reach for my drones, that keep popping notification and are pretty annoying

Try this - build menu, the infrastructure tab, select the salvage option from the very left. The cables should have little circular bits on the ends. Click on those little circular bits to delete sections of cable rather than clicking on the cable itself.

Why do you leave cables there? Doesn't Clicking on first Tab Build Menu -> Infrastructure -> Savage, and then clicking on cables doesn't work?!
