Description
New game causes immediate crash (mac)

Mac

Steam

What is your game version?
1007783

Do you have Space Race installed?
Yes

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The game crashes immediately when I start a new game. I have all the DLC installed except the latest, all mods are disabled. Did a clean install, nothing has fixed this. I'm running OSX Big Sur 11.4

LOADING an old save works fine, even with missing mods

Can you replicate the issue?
Loaded the game and tried to start a new one

Edit: Still having the issue after I upgraded my OS to Big Sur 11.5.2 and installed the below and beyond DLC

A way to clear this up is to run the tutorial, that's the solution the steam forums have found anyway. When I did that, there was a pop up to disable all mods, even though I had already disabled all of them in mod manager. Could some kind of discrepancy there be the cause of the crash?

Any news on this?
It's not known to be a general issue on Macs. Did the workaround of running the tutorial work for you too?
