Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I researched the core water breakthrough and 6 water deposits appeared 4 on an asteroid and two in the underground the ones in the underground are normal but the ones on the asteroids have icons 10 times the usual size, this sort of thing has happened before on mars but when I scroll out to the larger map they go back to normal but as there is no such thing available for asteroids they are remaining oversized

Can you replicate the issue?

How odd, I'm not aware of any other reports like this!


Please attach here the latest (ONLY!) game log file, from here:
C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\logs\
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Plus, DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

I see your video driver is a bit old, so try the latest. I think this is it

Then disable all mods and start a new colony - do you still see this then?
