Green Planet, Project Laika, In-Dome Buildings Pack

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Game freezes on save screen on PS5 on or after Sol 600. On manual save, after selecting "Yes, overwrite this save game" it goes to the landscape picture with the blue hex animation in the bottom right and does not progress past this screen. On autosave, the screen looks like any other autosave (can move around the map, etc) but will not progress past saving. In both instances I have tried waiting up to one hour for the issue to resolve without success.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. Any manual or auto save from Sol 600 and beyond creates this issue

As you can see from other threads here, this is a common problem on the PSx platform, and has not been solved for quite some time.

I keep raising this with Paradox but I'm afraid nothing has come of that yet.

No worries! At least someone is trying. I’m still experiencing this problem with now multiple new game starts. I bought a couple expansion packs (Green Planet, Project Laika, In-dome Buildings pack) hoping maybe that would help, but it has not. Right around sol 590-600 the game freezes on manual or auto save. I tried turning off auto save and playing many sols before trying to manually save again, but still no luck. I’ve tried uninstalling, clearing the PS5 cache, rebuilding the database, etc. nothing seems to work. It is clearly a game bug and not an issue with the console itself.

Is there any chance of this getting fixed? I would purchase more expansions if I knew they would be usable long term. But sol 600 is only long enough to develop about 20% of the map, if that. There’s no reason to spend more money on the game if this bug keeps happening.

FYI buying more content will never fix a game bug such as this.

I would indeed hold off from buying more until and unless you see a new patch for this game come down.
