Description
Texture bug - all the terrain is yellow and purplish on Geforce GTX 970

Windows

Steam

What is your game version?
1011166

What DLC do you have installed?
(DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION)

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
All the terrain is yellow instead of the orange/brown it should be. This worked well on my previous PC but I am on a newer one and textures are off. I have the latest Nvidia drivers.
I tried to change graphics settings, even used the NVidia geforce experience to optimize the game but no change.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes, no matter how much I tried to change all graphics settings, didn't help. I also validated game install files and it's good.

I don't know what could cause that, except it is certainly not a game bug!

Unload GeForce experience before starting the game, if that is running. I've seen it cause weird problems in its attempts to 'optimise' for various games.

If no good still, Please attach here the latest (ONLY!) game log file, from here:
C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\logs\
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Plus, DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Thank you for your quick response. The issue is now fixed.
- I uninstalled GeForce experience - no change (still had issue)
- Did a reboot - no change
- I uninstalled the game from Steam and reinstalled it fully (also leaving out cloud saves) and the issue is fixed!

What's strange is I did a "verify files" before from steam but that detected no errors, however the uninstall-reinstall worked. (See attachment, now all good)

I really appreciate your quick response!
