I have two Questions
1.Is it normal to lose 4 Stab points when you declared Independence from Denmark? I went from +3 to -1 when the little box said i would lose only one due to same true faith.

2.When you click on an enemy prov. you see the supply level but WHAT do the colors mean?Green-Yellow-Red

Yet 2 more things that the manual neglected to tell me.

Do you think maybe Paradox intentionally made the Manual inadequit to encourage all of us to get on-line and talk about the game? Not Knocking the game or Paradox here since if it was on purpose its pretty slick.

Sorry that was 3 Qs.

You lost the 3 stability for declaring war on someone you were the vassal of.

If you hold your cursor over the green (or yellow or red) number, it should tell what it means (I don't remember, myself).

Yes, it definitly is a bug that it isn't shown in the game. Should have been fixed by now IMO. Bad Bad Paradox ;)

The same as Green-Yellow-Red skulls (which is in the manual =)

Neidhart-Sweden should declare war at the very beginning of the game, when stability is -2; that way you don't lose as much.

Yes it probably is best now that I Know Ill be going to war with a negative stability.
In my game I decided to wait for denmark/Russian alliance to conclude and a leader.well i got the leader but russia cant go 10 years without declairing war on someone. Then Tuetonic Order DoWs Russia so I wait a couple months while all these countries battle in the snow(and suffer massive attrit.) Then I DoW Denmark only to find out that i go to war with -1 stab when I expected to have +2.Bummer oh well
make it a quick war Jonnycat or youll be fighting your own people before too long.Plus at the begining of the game Denmark had no allies-Definately the time to strike!;)

BTW were is Vienna Virginia? I list Susquahanna Prov. as
my home(I live just west of Philly but cant bring myself to say I live in delaware Prov. when I live in Pa.)in any case it seems we are practically neighbors in WWW terms.:D

Or u could just wait till 1521 when the vassalage just ends out of itself.

Is That SO???
Gee how did I miss That in the manual?;)
You know Ive learned more about this game after three days of being on this forum than i learned from reading the entire manual(well almost)or from playing it for 2 weeks straight. This forum is an invaluable resource.

Thanx BiB and everyone else who took the time to help a poor newbe.:D :D :D

Or you could just wait until you change your religion to Protestant, since changing religion cancels all vassalisations (I think that might be in the manual... somewhere... maybe).

Don't feel bad... I read these forums for months before the game came out in the 'States. After reading the historical documents, I returned to the forum, so I could learn to play the game.
