Some ideas are immortal and some mods refuse to give up...
With T.H.E. Project, T.H.E. Revolution has come. Build your own divisions, face a new combat system, use units that are specific to each country, feel a new gameplay approach and feel immersed by the events and the whole new game atmosphere with musics and graphics : that's what you can expect to while playing T.H.E. Project.
But T.H.E. story just begins...

Installation and warnings :

- Install sequence : Arma 1.2 + T.H.E. Alpha 0.02
- The AI is not T.H.E. AI yet ! It's vanilla one
- T.H.E. events only cover the march 38 - sept 39 period
- T.H.E. only scenario playable is T.H.E. Project's scenario
- All feedbacks and suggestions are welcomed, just keep in mind that we know that many things still have to be done
- Yes, IT'S MULTILINGUAL ! (but at the moment, it's only translated in french and english)
- I'm not responsible for making some people addicted to T.H.I.S. No need to call a lawyer ! :D

Just played trough the polish campaign. works ok, but if the german independence garanties are supposed (as the mouse over says) to give germany it didn´t work. I can see I should look into some more translating. i will be finished around friday or saturday.

Few things which I'd like to say about newest version:

* Still you should make easier to build supplies and money. For example: there's many nations (UK for example) which can't use all tech slots and same time build enouch supplies.
* I don't know if techs for some nations are final techs, but I think you should give some more techs for nations, because most of nations are technically in Stone Age.
* Egypt could have two (or maybe one) factory more in Cairo

And there you can see result of my first game on T.H.E.

Hi Fernando,

just found this gem and it looks very promising.

Now just by looking around I have a couple of questions:

- Major Generals (2-stars) are supposed to command 3 brigades, correct? That would be my assumption (and there is a comment in the misc.txt) but right now the max number is only 2
- I can't figure out the intent with the heavy and light infantry. they have roughly the same stats, but light is 2 points faster. why would i build heavy inf?
- the combined arms modifier is 0 for both attack and defense. wad? my impression was that the mix of armor and mot inf was very beneficial

The techs apps will be added later, when the tree is finished.
I will have a look on the supply and money but the actual result is good for me. As UK, you're not supposed to be able to build much in 1938.

- I know. But it can command 4 regiments if there's an HQ.
- The numbers look the same in game but they are not. Heavy inf is designed for defence, light one for offensive.
- Wad of course. There's no longer MOT unit (now it's an attachement).

Just curious, how many releases alpha releases will there be before the beta comes out and how many beta releases will there be until t.h.e real thing comes out?

I also recommend that the IC-to-money ratio be increased. Not to help the human player, but to prevent the AI nations having to waste IC on additional consumer goods spending, especially in wartime. Mustn't get in the way of their making a big enough hammer to beat you with, eh? ;)

Well, the AI could just get generic bonuses to make up for that, I don't know if that would require an increase in the IC-Money ratio.

A few development feedback :

We are about to finish the new naval units and tech trees. We still have to rework the OoBs.
We are about to finish the new combat system.
We have written events for the march '38 - november '39 period.

The new version will be called Alpha 0.1 and will be released before the end of may.
Some advertisements presenting the incoming changes will soon be available.

PS @Skolehaven and Frank+Frei (or any other) : i need you to translate in english and german the events i've just written. Tell by PM if you are available.
