finally finished the T28 Super Heavy Tank to take the US Level 4 Panzer. It's in green, though I have some initial confusion with with black or green. If people think greyscale would be more appropriate let me know and I might release a different one. All in all, here it is: it's a monstrosity and barely enough for the tiny frame:) .

Also, this would be my last frequent release of sprite because as I've pointed out before, these sprite making are a bit time consuming. ANyway, that doesn't mean I won't release anything new; just not as quickly.

As NightY had pointed out, a final tutorial is in need, so I might do a tutorial for basics of sprite making from 3D renders, just to add the excellent resource NightY had accumulated. Again, here are the latest sprites

To Nighty: FINALLY MADE them before Stony Road 1.04 !:D

WHEW!

:D do it for Milkshape, I think I need it lol im having some problems wiht Milkshape :D

Im a person that works closly with the grids of of a 3d program, and I like very thing neat and tidy and im nto managing this with Milkshape for some reason?

Do the Tutorial with pictures, I like visual stimulation, it needs to be precise, seeing it will be a basic walk threw of the program

Its also very difficult I think trying to start off your 3d model lol that will be a spirit for this great game, lol I can never find a good way to start it lol, dont want the scale to go wrong either!

Keep it in US colours...

It was only grey because it was experimental I guess...

Presumably had it gone into production it would have been the M28?

The T28 was created spewcifically to help in breaching the Siegfried Wall. It's powerful new 105mm gun was supposed to be able to knock out the bunkers. It actually was a super-heavy assaulkt gun. Less than thirty were even planned, but the war progressed too far for the project.
By the time planners saw similar requirements for the invasion of japan the T29 was already designed, a turreted version of the T28, so the T29 is the true US super-heavy tank of late WWII. The T29 was also superseded by the war progress, AFAIK only a mild steel prototype got produced.

LoL ive come up against a bit of a snag, it seems I mgiht have to many Polys now or what ever lol, if I try to copy and past another tank track, the whole damn program colapses, so could it be the Polys sekinoss?

Also sent you and Nighty some screenies...

.
This work is really great till now. I think we have to congratulate you on your entry in the realms of 3D!

LoL yay thier is the preview more or less, as I said ive hit on a snag that for some reason I cant continue working on it right now until ive sorted the Poly count out or what ever the problem is thats causing the it to crash when I try to add a new section onto the Catipiler tracks :(

will 3d max the free version solve that problem sekinoss? and is it the same ype of using system/Handling and knowing your way around it as in Milkshape>?
