Are these numbers hardcoded to trigger the Tank sprite levels? How's it done? What launches the sprite levels?

I remember running some tests to figure out which models got each sprite level, but I can't remember what the results were right now. I don't know if I posted it to the forum (maybe a google site search of the forum would reveal it if I did), but if I didn't the results are probably in a deceased hard drive somewhere.

If the search doesn't work out, the best way to test this is to edit a save game, add units to a country that has all the sprites (add one unit per model, in separate stacks, named for its model) and see which stacks get which sprite.

Cheers Gwalcmai for the replie!

I have pretty much trawled the forum for the answer in the past, must have just missed it.

Thanks for the great save game idea

Hoi1 Tank Model sprite triggers

Ok  I used the save game idea and produced all 34 CORE Tank models at once to find out which models represent which of the 4 Tank sprites(L-1/2/3/4) in game...

Hoi1 Tank Sprite Model Triggers

Panzer Sprite models
Hoi1 1.06c Vanilla has 38 tank model types and the Hoi1 CORE mod has 34 tank models.

Tank Sprite Model's
Panzer L-1 0-12
Panzer L-2 13-24
Panzer L-3 25-33
Panzer L-4 34-38
