Yeah, and I wanna change Manzikert so what?? Any battle that is played out after 1066 is gonna be changable. Hell if the track record from earlier games are correct most of them will never happen. And since it´s not a tactical game I very much doubt that much weight will be put on individual battles.
Aye you are correct in that but that wasn´t my point. The focus of the game will probably be on the strategic which makes any scenario stating with Tannenberg very unlikely.
In the battle that took place at Tannenberg/Gruenwald July 15 1410,
The Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen miscalculated. He didn´t thought that the Lithuanian Grand Prince Witold and the polish King Wladyslaw could combine effectively. Furthermore he thought that the Hungarian king Sigismund could assist the Order.
Of course none of his hopes came true.
Witold and Wladyslaw did combine successfully and Sigismund did nothing.
