What would be the easiest way, with out using the consol, to switch the Targaryen from Feudal to republican? I want to do it as quickly after first start date. I've tried the whole giving city to your heir, pissing off a vassal so they start war, pissing off heir so they start war, surrendering to the first war, still feudal. My next plan was to grant a merchant duchy to oryn, siwtching to him, and waging war to aquire dragon stone. But that would reset the score, take longer, disrupt the dynasty and leave it weak. Suggestions?

Start in the conquest bookmark. Conquer Essos. Choose to revive the Valyrian freehold as a republic instead of an Empire.

Give your heir a republic. Play until your ruler is about to kick the bucket. Save game and resign. Load up save as heir. Profit.

I kind of wish it kept up the Triarch mechanics, especially if you shack up in Old Volantis, but it looks like Aegon ended up being a mere Archon of all Essos.
