I am currently playing IGC 2.1 as Thuringen. I have accomplished a monopoly in Venice which is supposed to give me 80 ducats revenue per year on top of the 20 ducats I receive from the capital. Yet when January 1st rolls around, I only get 18 ducats yearly revenue? Any suggestions?

It's added monthly to you research budget, not yearly to your treasury.
