I play as Austria in the game.
I have average tech levels. How kan it be that other countries are more advanced especially minors. Is this because they can spend more money to research because they have smaller armies?
I almost don't spend any money on naval research i als don't but mony in my treasury yet my tech levels are not that high in other area's.
How can this be?

I think everything is ok in the game I was just wondering. Spain fpr example is less advanced army wise. I has a better trade levvel tough.

Sounds good. I guess u just have to play better 
Tech in the latest patch goes quite well. Tech advancement is also based on empire size so minors who invest a lot in tech will have good tech.
