Ok first things first great game wonderful experience well worth the time.
Now here's the problem. I'm playing the United States in the road to war senario. i'm moving stuff from norfolk in the U.S. to Iceland in preperation for another move and the computer locks up and crashes to the desktop. I get an error message from Microsoft saying that that game is experienceing problems and needs to close. It does this with no further problems. It doesn't seem to be time related it seems to be related to unit movement. It happens if I try to move all the involved units or if i try to move them one at a time. Now here is the interesting thing and the reason I think its a bug and not a hardware problem. I can play the same senario at the same time with the british and move troops over the same route mulitple times without any problems. I've run direct x diagnostics and nothing looks unusual.
system specs:
pentium 4 2.4ghz processor
256mb ram
soundblaster live sound card
The RAM and proccessor are above minimum specs but below recomended when it comes to ram so i expect more than a little lag later in the game and i'll live with it until i can upgrade. lag isn't the problem its a crash. I think i've tried everything mentioned in the forum but i wouldn't swear to it. I'm new to this whole tech support forum thing so my appologies if i'm treading over well traveled ground but any help would be nice.
thanks.
