Hey everybody, I have been trying to play scenarios for a while now and none of them seem to work. I download the zip file into my Scenario folder from the depot and then extract them to the same folder. Then later when I am already in the game, I click on the scenario over on the left menu (It is there) and then click whatever country and begin. Well... at this point, everything goes fine until the reading scenario part of the loading process. At that point my computer just crashes. This problem is really annoying and if anyone can help me figure it out then it would be helpful. Thanks

It seems to be a trouble alright. Probably some files that isnt compatible. When it loads, look on what it is loading when its crash. For example does it sayes it loads monarchs files and crash right after that it is probably your monarch files that doesnt is correct. What version of Eu 1 do you have?, do you have IGC?, witch sceanrios did you try out? What language version do you have?

I have EU 1 version 1.09, English Version, I have IGC, and I tried out your scenario,Yoghurt, the medieval one (sounds really interesting). Just the medieval grand campaign. I'm not sure where it crashes. Is there a way to tell? it just crashes during the reading scenario part.

EDIT: I just got 1.10 patch thinking that might be the problem... it wasn't. Still the same problem...

Well, um, I guess the files u download include an edited text.csv, so u'd have to replace the original one with it(make a copy of it first though). Meaning : don't unzip into the Scenario directory, just into the EU2 one. :)

If it chrashes reading the scenario file it is ussual something with the scenario inc file, but it sounds strange if it happens all the time in every scenario. For the medieval scenario be sure to have EU 1 version 1.10 , then copy the scenario files inc and eug into your scenario folder. It should load just doing this, but wont be any fun to play.

As the scenario is made for a swedish language version you will end up with strange names and locations for the nations. And just copy the included text.scv file into your folder wont do it, because you are playing a english version. Look into the text.csv file included in the zip. there you have the tags for every nation. Make a back up on your old text.csv file and then copy the tags from the medieval text.csv over your tags in your text.csv. Then all the nations should work properly.
(There should be a readme if youre english file included)

Also I have noticed that the Medieval scenario doesnt work propelry when IGC installed, at least not on my comp

I just tested the Medieval scenario and its works fine with me. I just extracted the inc and eug file into my scenario folder and it loaded.

If you dont have EU Unlimited it should work either way, the only thing that happens is taht it doesnt start in 1192, it starts in 1492. Make sure again that you copy both the inc and eug file to your scenario folder.

Even if you have IGC installed it should load, the problem with IGC comes later on...
