I bought King Arthur and the Saxons DLC from Gamersgate and started up King Arthur. King Arthur worked fine but when I open the Saxons, it starts up, then windows says it crashes... I am excited about the druids DLC but, I am not sure it will work since the Saxons doesn't.

Hi, I've got the same issue. But I can't find where exactly I installed the Saxons DLC. Does anyone know the path it defaults to if downloaded from gamersgate? I'm afraid I have also removed the temporary files. :s

Should have been more observant....

Will this problem be fixed in the future? I was interested in the game until I discovered that you need to find fixes in order to load the game.

According to the other thread the correct folder would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox\King Arthur -The Role Playing Wargame"...correct?

Yes unfortunately you have to.

I have something to report. Installing it to the right folder doesn't work for me. I use Win7 64bit and when I install to the correct King Arthur directory, The Druids shortcut just loads vanilla. I checked in properties, the shortcut is correct. BUT if I install it to another directory and copy & paste it over the King Arthur directory(choose to over write everything), it works perfectly. It might seem my win 7 doesn't overwrite a few files from the installer.

I had the same problem but here is the solution:

1. Install the expansion into EXACTLY the same directory. Even if you select your original King Arthur folder the dialog suggests creating a subdirectory named King Arthur which is wrong. Remove it manually, install and launch.

Here is my correct path:

"D:\Games\King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame\KingArthur.exe" win gamestartmode:saxon

If you don´t remove the suggested path it would have looked like:
"D:\Games\King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame\King Arthur\KingArthur.exe" win gamestartmode:saxon

...which is totally wrong
