Techs dissapearing

Its probably been noted already but currently playing a multi player game and couldnt select a tech even though I had researched the required tech before. It was hi lited light blue but i could not pick it. We rehosted the game and the tech I had researched previously was no longer researched. I had to research it again to get back to the tech I was tryigng to select before. It was a difficult naval doctrine and takes about 6 months. After researchign it first time and now again its cost me another 6 techs I could have done plus all the important carrier an ASW I cant research for another six months. Two other players in the game have all lost a tech for no reason at some stage. Has this problem been noted before and is it going to be fixed in a patch.
