Temple vassals disappear after appointing new Court Chaplain

Description​

I'm playing as Bavandid's, year 878, already went Zoarastrian and my original chaplain left when I was on a pilgrimage and now when I appoint a new one all the temple vassals, including the chaplain, become unlanded and leave. I can appoint new vassals and they will stay until I appoint one as the new chaplain.

Steps to reproduce​

Appoint new temple vassals from random locals, appoint best one as chaplain, watch them disappear

I have the same problem. Started at year 867. At 896 my haymanot heir inherited the Abbysian kingdom, after granting temple to a noble of same faith, and making him court chaplain he sometimes immediately, sometimes after awhile gets unlandend and wandering or beocmes a guest at my court.

Hello there! We have already confirmed the issue, but thank you both for your reports! To avoid the issue, apply Court Chaplain first and they should take your all temple holdings - then both Court Chaplain and temple holdings should not be revoked.
