instead of purging alien pops from a hostile hive mind. My terravore empire claims they have full citizenship and are the same species.

1. What platform are you using?
Ps4

2. What version of the game are you using?
(Console) 4.01

3. What DLC do you have installed?
All of them

4. When did this start happening?
After federations update

5. Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how.

Started as a terravore with shattered ring origin. Fought a hive mind and took their planets.

6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?

All saves. Has happened 3 times in a row

7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?

This is a feature that was added in PC 3.0.*, hiveminds no longer automatically purge pops with the hiveminded trait.
wait...If hive-minds don't automatically purge pops with the hive mind trait even if they're devouring swarm what does that mean for the status of those pops? Can they still work normally? If so I don't know if that fit's right with me because the pops are different hives so they would continue to fight especially if devouring swarms. Could you please direct me to the dd that says this? I want to know their reasoning...

Was it implemented in the console edition? Because it’s still 2.8. And I’m also not aloud to purge them at all as a terravore. They are instantly considered the same species as my starter one as soon as I take the planet. And even when the AI takes it back they are still my species.
