Hi. Does anyone know where to find any information on how to make house basement to keep its texture when it appears in the game? I've seen it done mainly by Titan - when a house is placed on a slope it starts revealing more steps to come down , and its basement walls. Tried making sub-mesh assets and it does appear but without its texture.

Thank you, I'll try it out. It sounds as it should be this but when I was on that website, because ... I'm a commoner ;) and I don't know what shader means (I even tried Google and it doesn't explain it very well either) or noBase (I haven't seen that one actually), it makes reading such websites really hard.

Thank you for pointing in that direction. I'll try it after work. I've even seen that there is a video on youtube to give more details.

In very simple terms the shader tells the game how to render a model. The noBase shader means that the foundation buildings have, which extends far into the ground, isn't created. Under Buildings you can find a list, quick description and image showing the different shaders. https://cslmodding.info/asset/building/#shaders

Thank you very much Avanya - initial testing successful - at first attempt that i thought would be an incorrect one, as i packed all the underground mesh into one model (single mesh with no sub-meshes). Second model with separate parts as undeground mesh (as sub-meshes), didn't quite work :D:D
Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be but I'm happy with the outcome... and I shall update Taigh Bainne soon ;)
Just need to get my Vertex points back to work to pretend I have a water flow (that's for a different building, a mill).
