Hi,
thanks for the game, I was really looking forward to dusting off an old classic. However, when I launch the game after the GG installer has finished, I get a bunch of errors saying a font (arial-8) and some .bmp's are missing.

Anybody got the same?
Suggestions?

After installing the 2.1 patch I'm still missing the files from gfx/palette/ . Only 6 bmp files are present there. Game stops at the loader screen saying Initalizing Globals

Try reinstall it!

Also try turning off your anti-virus when launching it. Mine gets mad since there is a common malware called rouge crusader!

What I did:
install crusader kings
install deus vult
install regfix for patch:
http://patches.gamersgate.com/ck/reg_fix.zip
install latest beta patch:
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...October-2008&p=8983876&viewfull=1#post8983876

works flawless

Yes, try reinstall it. I had no problems with my Avira Antivir.

I've taken the exact steps mentioned here and it installed and started without problems (only some black screens; might be due to my ATI 5870).

The game's not bad at all, I'll give it a try.
