Now Announcing the 18th Century Mod. This Mod starts in 1776, with the American Revolution and goes throughout the Napoleonic wars to 1850. The beta will be released with version 1.0 of WOE. I have been working hard to get done today.

Progress:
Nations/nation placement- mostly done
Minister/Leaders-needs work and scripters
Tech Tree-needs a DH tech tree worker
Sprities-Already done
Sheilds- Done
Mod background-Done

-A Modders United Mod-

If you really can pull this off...

Well, I just point out that it's near impossible to provide gameplay for so many years in this game. Remember that Hearts of Iron progresses one hour at a time.

Interesting! But wouldn't Victoria 2 be better suited for a mod covering that era?

Good luck, buddy. The logistics required for this are so intense, if it even reaches an early beta state I will be wholly impressed. ;)

Seriously, though, don't say we didn't warn you, haha.

Ottoman Empire =D,Papal States =D,Russian Empire =D,Germany =D.

That's a very good idea that unfortunately requires a lot of work on your side to make it real. I would suggest you to do it on small steps like doing American Revolution scenario first and release it, then work on the French Revolution and so on. The main advantage of such approach is that you'll a playable version sooner and while getting feedback and cheers from players on it you can work on the next step.
Good luck and don't let all those sceptics kill your enthusiasm! :)

I think it is too hard to make a mod which covers a whole century. That's because the unit of time in HOI series is hour, unlike EU or VIC which is a day. Also there would be too many events :)

Perhaps a misc command could be added which could be used to change the progressing speed from hours to days? :)

Martin's right about starting the progress with a limited scenario. American Revolution is a good one, another nice would be scenario for the war which led to Indian colonisation.

Announcement !!!! A Beta will be released for emailing by next Monday. It won't have events, but except for that it will mostly be done (sprities will not be in beta due to the size of the file)
