The Voting For the 2009 CrusadAAR's Chalice Has Begun!
(or it will once the poll has been added by a mod!)

For the last two weeks, you have mulled over the eligable AARs and (a handful of you) even nominated some of them!

Well, now the fun begins. Here are the four AARs who recieved the most nominations. Read through them, find the one you think is best and vote!

The winner will be awarded the 2009 CrusadAAR's Chalice for best AAR completed in 2009. The losers go home and cry in their milk (though some receive fabulous parting gifts). So start reading, you only have 4 short weeks to decide!

Also: Unlike the Nominations thread, you can post here as often as you like. What AAR did you vote for? Why? Sway the electorate with your elegant prose (or poetry, if you feel so inclined!)

CC Poll

Poll added - congrats to all the nominees and good luck. Thansk again for heading this up, AP. :)

up to 8 votes cast, 150+ views and 0 discussion!

Still. We are VERY early in, so keep up the good work

(EU, by the way, has more than 77 votes cast. I'm not saying it is a competition, but we had 5 more Chalice votes than OscAAR votes last year. Just saying, that's all)

Voted as it is my duty... (if I don't miss the thread...;))

16 votes and a 7-7 tie between Eagle and Life and Deeds. This might turn out to be a nail bitingly thrilling edition.

22 votes so far. Not bad at all! :D

Thanks to those voting for Eagle, especially since I'm not advertising it. I really appreciate it, especially since it's been nearly a year since I finished it. :)

Damn you, Vesimir! I get a vote and you get two more. You sure you didn't bribe, AP? :p ;)

Seriously, did you guys read the other two? Taking nothing away from Vesimir's nor certainly mine own AAR, it is a travesty that there are not more votes for the other 2 works. That kind of gap should not exist. :(

The first AAR ended before I could start commenting it, although I read it still.
IamWhoa lasted longer than any other AAR in game terms. :p

voted for Coz! Sorry Vesimir, I always press some buttons when I can't make up my mind:p

44 votes and two close battles: The Eagle and Angevin duking it out for the CrusadAAR's Chalice while Fine Whine and de Haro are duking it out for the Illustrious PewtAAR Cup!

Who will win? Its up to you 56 people who haven't voted yet!

Well, this is certainly exciting. If it remains a tie, I propose settling by an authentic medieval jousting match.

Wouldn't be fair. He's got revolvers. And he's one of the people that surpassed the very Gods in the sky in power. (Read Mod.)

Right now I'm leading so let's hope it stays that way. When do the chalices stop, btw?

The voting ends mid-morning on 7 April. Naturally, I'll be out of town (in fact, I'll be gone from tomorrow until 11 April.

So, the winner will officially be announced on 12 April, but you will already know the results.
