The Achievement King of all the Isles is never achievable

The Achievement King of all the Isles is never achievable

Description​

No matter which new starting Character i choose (all are Nordic and Asatru), i am never able to do the "King of all the Isles" Achievment.
When i check the possible achievments, "King of all the Isles" is never there.

Steps to reproduce​

Start a new game, as any new ruler (e.g. Ivar the Boneless), check Achievments.
Its not under possible achievments and under all achievments it is claimed to be "not possible in current campaign".

I did it yesterday. Are you sure you have all the isles?

I dont have all the Isles yet. However my Problem is not that i have all the requirements to finish it. My problem is, that the achievment is not shown in the "possible achievments" window from the start of the game. I'm not risking playing a savegame for tens of hours to see if i will eventually get the achievment anyway.

The achievement doesn't appear in the list until you personally hold both the Duchy of Mann and the County of Mann (it has to be in your personal domain).

At that point, it will appear as a "possible achievement" that's grayed out until you have the other prereqs. But it won't appear in the list at all until then.

Its been a while since i was able to play the game again. I did what you said, and conquered Duchy of Mann and the County of Mann and they are in my personal domain while always staying norwegian and asatru.
However even after restarting my savegame the achievment is still not listed under possible achievements :/

My guess is you started the game before an patc, update, or hotfix that you're not even aware of. I once had a saved game ruined by a hotfix that wasn't supposed to break saves because the game no longer recognized my Norse culture as Norse, so I couldn't found the Norman culture. It thought Haesteinn was Swedish or Norwegian, or some such. I don't know how to check the coding for that--some kind fellow player figured it out for me. Wouldn't surprise me if you had something similar going on.
