We are playing as the Count of Passau in 1066. This is an Ironman game.The only relevant DLCs I’m playing with are Way of Life and Legacy of Rome(I’m playing with others but they have no chance of affecting the game).There will be no pictures,sorry.

The duke got married to a Apulian Courtier named Rocca in 1066.He decided that he wanted to become the Bavarian marshal.He also decided to focus on hunting.He sent his chancellor to improve relations with his liege.He assigned his marshal to train troops.His steward was to collect taxes.His chaplain was sent to Rome to improve religious relations with the Pope.His spymaster went to Trent to study technology.The emperor declared war on France over Zealand in October 1066.The count’s nephew,Gottfried,was betrothed to a relative of the Duke of Barcelona in 1067.In September,a daughter was born to the count named Wilhelmina. In January 1068,new tech knowledge came from Trent.Zeeland was taken from the French around this time.In February,the Emperor set up an antipope.In September 1068,King Harald of Norway became King of England.

In October 1070,heretics known as the Lollards revolted against the Emperor.They lost in 1071.In November 1071,a son named Otto was born to the count.In November 1073,Wilhelmina was betrothed to a Bohemian prince named Boleslav.In May 1076, more technology came back from Trent.In May 1076,the chancellor was sent to fabricate claims on Salzburg.The inheritance law was also changed to Ultimogeniture.In July,a claim on Salzburg was successfully fabricated.War was declared soon after. In December,the Count of Passau became Count of Salzburg.He have the Prince-Bishopric to Ulric,his brother.Dietpold was knocked incapable in the war with Salzburg,however.In April 1080,more tech from Trent was discovered.In November 1081,Duke Gerhard the Old refused a vassalage change demanded by the Kaiser.Peasants also revolted in June 1082.The peasants were crushed in December. Dietpold died in March 1083.

In May 1083,the vassal revolt was defeated.A Chancellor was appointed and sent to improve relations with our liege.The Court Chaplain was sent to improve relations with the Pope.The Spymaster was to study tech in Treviso.The Kaiser declared war on Genoa over Genoa in September 1083.

In October 1085,the Emperor took Genoa proper from Genoa.The Chancellor was sent to fabricate claims on Niederbayern in August 1086.In December,a war began between the Emperor and Piss over an embargo.In June 1087,the Steward tried to squeeze some extra taxes from the peasants.He was reassigned to research economy tech.In November 1087,the regency ended.

In January 1088,the Pisans surrendered.In February 1088,he decided he wanted to become the Spymaster.In November 1089,the Kaiser declared war on Poland over a claim.In August 1090,news reached us that the Duke of Bohemia had proclaimed himself King of Bohemia.In November 2090,the war was won.On October 1091,heretics known as the Waldensians revolted against our Kaiser!It was won by February 1092.In January 1094,the Kaiser declared war on the Pisans again.The Count got married in May 1094. The Pisan war ended in November 1094.In July 1096,the Kaiser declared war on Venice.The Count had lost a war in 1097 and was now deep in debt. The Spymaster was sent to study tech in Oberbayern.The debt was paid off by February, however.The Count was secretely plotting ways to take Niederbayern.A daughter was born in March 1098 named Otta.The Kaiser beat the Venetians in May 1099.

Norway rules England.Glamorgan is the last independent Welsh state.Argyll,Mann,and Galloway are independent.Norway continues to rule the Orkneys.Scotland is ruled by the Morays. Mumu rules a portion of Southern Ireland.Laigin rules a county in Wales and a bit of Eastern Ireland. The rest of Ireland is independent counties.
==France and Spain==
Maine is independent.Breize and Broëref share Brittany.The Hudids are the Dukes of Aragon, although the Kings are still sovereign.Navarre hasn’t changed much.Barcelona has taken land from Lleida.Leon and Castille have not expanded outside their de jure borders.Valladolid is Castilian. The Almoravids hold some land south of Galicia and are facing a revolt.Granada and the Abbadids split the Beleares.
==Africa==
The Almoravids rule Morocco and Algeria.Ghana remains in control of the Sahara.The Zirids rule the rest of the coast.The Fatimids rule Egypt.Tobruk,Buhairya,Aswan,and the Sulayhids are sovereign.Nubia,Alicia,Axum,and Abyssinia remain.
==Scandinavia,Russia,and the Steppes==
Norway,Sweeen,and Denmark haven’t changed. Kola,Karelia,Sapmi,and Livonia rule most of the rest.Galich,Ingrid,Polotsk,and Smolensk remain. Novgorod formed Rus and Kiev is a shadow of its former self.Bjarmia,Ugra,Mordva,The Bolghars,and Cumania reign on the western steppes.The Eastern Steppes contain the Oghuz,the Ugra,the Khangai, the Alti-Shahr,the Xia,the Karaid,and a few smaller states.

The Kalyani Chalukya dominate this region.Smaller powers include the Somavansi,Chauhan,Solanki, Nepal,Pala,and Chola.Smaller States are the Rohana,Cedi,Chandela,Rashtrauka,Vodamayutja, Kalachuri,Tomara,Azizid,and Monyaul.Tibet is ruled by the Bhuama Pala,U-Tsang,Sumparu,Guge, Maryland,and a few smaller states.
==Byzantine Empire==
The Byzantine Empire is profoundly balkanized. Trebizond,Armeniacon,Nikaea,Paphlagonia, Charsianon,Cilcia,Cibyrrhaeot,Laodikea,and Samos are in Anatolia.Cyprus is united.Crete, Achaia,Athens,the Aegean Islands,Epirus, Dyrrachion,Thessalonika,Moesia,Karvuna,Thrace, and Adrianople are all Greek (or Bulgarian) themes. Nikaea and Samos also have Greek territories.The Byzantine Emperor controls three counties.
==The Holy Roman Empire and Southern Italy==
Sicily rules all of Southern Italy.The Papacy has land in Central Italy.Sardinia is Balkanized.Venice still exists and Genoa rules Nice.Tuscany is a huge power in Italy.Ancona also exists.Pisa is still sovereign.Verona,Lombardy,and Padua are smaller Italian powers.Montferrat,Provence,Savoy,and Upper Burgundy are Burgundian states.Bavaria, Bohemia,Saxony,Swabia,and both Lorraines are major German powers.Carinthia,Luxembourg, Brandenburg,Neumark,and the Imperial Domain are smaller states.

In 1100,the mad count executed his own heir! He then killed his other daughter!As this was happening,our liege declared a war for Aquitaine. Then,he imprisoned all of his council members.His Steward,Spymaster,and Court Chaplain all escaped.They were both executed.One of his vassals then revolted against the mad Count.In May,he plotted to kill his own wife!He didn’t even try to combat his revolting vassal.In 1102,he even surrendered to the revolting vassal!He was thus made to abdicate!This ended the Raptonen Dynasty of Passau.It Also began Premyslid Passau.
