Hello and welcome to the Crusader Kings LibrAARy
This thread's purpose is to provide a clear and precise organization of AARs for Crusader Kings. There are three main areas an AAR can be listed: by the writer's name, by the Dynasty name and in the Completed AAR section. This library is a depository for your stories. There are tragedies and comedies here. There are narratives and pages of screen-shots and most of all, there are stories here. Your stories. Please enjoy this LibrAARy and enjoy all of your wonderful stories.

Requirements for an AAR to be included:
An AAR must be posted in [thread=140591]this thread[/thread] with a functional link to that AAR (PM me if you need help with that).

To ensure all information is accurate:
Post in [thread=140591]this thread[/thread]. What you can have under your AAR is basically the dynasty you are playing, the country's name, the title of your AAR, your name, the date the AAR took place, and whatever happened to the AAR.

Of course, you won't have an end date for an ongoing AAR, but this is the way you will appear in the LibrAARy.


IMPORTANT: UNLESS YOUR POST CONTAINS A FUNCTIONAL LINK TO YOUR AAR, IT WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE LIBRAARY - "Link in sig" does not count!

Once you have completed, abandoned, or otherwise stopped updating your AAR, please post again in the update thread. You can use the above code if you'd like or just link and name your AAR and note the year, date and reason for ending.

To be eligable for the "Completed AAR List:"
I must have a "completed AAR" post in the LibrAARy update thread (whether bitter defeat or glorious victory). Otherwise, your AAR will be treated as ongoing forever.

The AuthAAR must make that post declaring the AAR complete. Fans cannot do that.

The Illustrious CrusadAAR's Chalice​

The Premier Crusader Kings AwAARd, the CrusadAAR's Chalice is awAARrded Annually or Semi-Annually (depending on the number of qualified entrants) to the Best Completed AAR for that year.

For an AAR to qualify for the CrusadAAR's Chalice, the AAR must be complete, meaning it has a beginning, middle and end. For an AAR, the end of the story must conincide with the completion - through defeat, death of the dynasty or the end of the game. For Fan-Fiction, the story must come to a logical, and reasonable ending. CTD and otherwise discontinued or abandoned AARs are not eligble. The LibrAARian has final say on eligability of a given AAR. Finally, the AAR must be listed as a Completed AAR in the Complete AAR section of the LibrAARy, meaning that the authAAR has registered both the beginning of the AAR and its completion in the LibrAARy update thread.

Qualified AARs face off in a nomination thread with the top nominees voted on by the readers of Crusader Kings AARs. The winner (or winners, in case of a tie) are enshrined in the LibrAARy as the CrusadAAR's Chalice winners. The losers go home and cry in their milk.
