I would like to ask of the young King of Hungary that our two nations, devout servants of God as we are, form an alliance against the pagans and schismatics that lie to the east and threaten to break through our realms, the only line of defense between Christendom and the armies of the Devil.
Furthermore, I would make a call toward the princes of Rus to stop your infighting and unite with the Kingdom of Poland, under one banner, to drive the pagans and heathens out of your lands. Only with Polish aid may you stand together against the menace of evil that stands even now at your gates. Let us join and reunite our two shattered faiths that we may face the Lord our God at the end of days and say that we did his will and we did so together.
