The game lacks a duchy

As a French I really enjoy the game, but I think at least there should be a duchy of Alsace composed of Nordgau and Sundgau
I remember having a trip in this area and eating at a restaurant called "duchy of Alsace" but nothing in CrusaderKing
I made some researches and I found that there war a duchy of Alsace until IXth century

Sorry, if you want more duchies you must resort in user-made modifications.

There are lots of missing Duchies, in the end however everyone who was a Duke could not be incorperated into the game, with out creating Duchy inflation. So some had to be missed out Alsace is one, but there are plenty of others if you go and look.
