I'm so busy building stuff I don't play the game anymore... damnit !!!!!!!!! I want my life back. Are those my kids ?????? Hey what's that light going through my window... the "sun" ??? Food ? I don't need that...
I think the downside of this game is losing sleep. I didn't go to bed until 6AM this morning because I am currently immersed in God mode making my first map from scratch (back and forth with Photoshop and the map editor....CO we really need terraforming tools). I have yet to establish a city aside from some testing. I always spend days and sometimes weeks in God Mode before I lay one stretch of road.
And to top it off, I'm making custom props and buildings to go with my theme. It's gonna be a while before my first region takes shape.
Yep, I've been digging through the code so much to see what I can do with mods, and then making test mods that my Steam playtime is now 75% mod testing and 25% playing the game for fun (all before I started making mods).
The last times I turned on the game was to test models or show my wife how to play. I think I'm holding unconsciously for mods that add more challenge and keeping my mind on the game by making models, so I don't just move on.
Lol, I played the game for the first 2 days and haven't played it since... Nothing but Modeling, Just the past day I decided to start working on a map though. I don't really consider that playing either though, just another form of modeling. It's coming out good though. Wonder when I'll actually play again.
